The word "Baby Daddy," as much of us know, is another word for "A child's father." Sadly, It has become a part of the English language. We hear the word on the big screen, in music, and in our everyday lives.
I say "Sadly" because the word was created to describe a man that has fathered your child, but the two of you are no longer in a relationship. We no longer refer to these men as our husbands or ex-husbands, but simply "My Baby Daddy"
80% of Black children are born to a single mother.
As a people, this number should scare us and piss us off at the same time! What are we teaching the next generation? Where are our family values? Where is our commitment to the well-being of our children and ourselves?
As a people, we must do better!

- Single Black Men~Take your time to really get to know the next woman that you meet. Don't kiss her until the 3rd date and don't have sex with her unless she is someone that you are interested in marrying!
- Single Black Women~Take your time to really get to know the next man that you meet. Don't kiss him until the 3rd date and don't have sex with him until he gives you a ring!

ReplyDeleteThe reason why we have so many baby daddies instead of fathers is because we dont take in consideration of the man and woman we are with.women i advise that if you lay with a man and you all have a baby together that you should make the man just as responsible.alot of times the woman ends up keeping the child and the man becomes a check number,the man should have the kids as much as the woman,and if we dont stop it from happening the cycle will never stop.In most cases ,the woman is going to handle hers and going to do what it takes to make sure that child is provided for. but it should be a fithy fithy situation.women stoping making these mens into boys....make them share equal time,money, and responsibilty with their children.
