My February 13th blog discussed Black Men stepping up and proposing for V-day! I am happy to announce that we had 1 proposal in our family!
My younger cousin proposed to his long-time girlfriend and "Baby Mama" on Valentine's Day!

While this was exciting news! I realized, 4 out of 6 men in our family are MARRIED!!! While only 1 out of 6 women are married!
Has "The Curse" reared its ugly head again???
As a man myself I have no fear of commitment I just feel that sometimes women want the ring soo badly that's all they focus on women need to stop worrying about the ring and focus on the relationship if the man does propose out of pressure it's not because he's readyand ladies you wouldn't want that anyway do you want a man to Marry you becausec he is ready or because he is still not sure but felt pressured think about it

Why dont you share some info with us readers and let us be the judge of y u arent married. Rear ur egly head I say! We need dialog with a "respectable", intellegent, man..oh maybe that aint u! Oops...
Now what women dont want is to be in a dead end relationship! And dont get it twisted just because we bear the children, trust and believe,U ALL HAVE A TIME CLOCK AS WELL! (heard about it on the news men should not have children after a certain age cuz ur balls squeeze the living daylights out of the sperm causing them to not swim like they should. Google it! Look it up! Its true!) You all just dont want to admit it living as though u have all the time in the world, GUESS WHAT! U DONT!!!
So u better start "WORRYING ABOUT THAT RING" TOO B4 DONT NOBODY WANT U!
Well as a happily married woman I must say that everyone needs to understand that "Women are from Venus & Men are from Mars" we think differently. But, to all live here on this earth, together, we must come to some sort of middle ground. To understand that we all need eachother and work towards harmony. And also, women need not give these dead beat men too much time to think on it. If they snooze, they lose.
